How do different types of vacuum pumps work?

Different types of vacuum pumps have different functions and working principles, and the specific processes used are also different. This article describes the specific functions of various vacuum pumps as follows:
1. The working principle of the roots vacuum pump is: it has a pair of synchronous high-speed rotating sole rotors. Due to the continuous rotation of the rotors, the pumped air is sucked from the air inlet into the gap between the rotor and the pump housing, and The exhaust port is discharged. Since the gap is fully enclosed after inhalation, the gas in the pump chamber is not compressed and expanded, but when the top of the rotor turns over the edge of the exhaust port, the gap is connected to the exhaust side. The gas pressure is high, and a part of the gas on the side recoils into this gap, causing the gas pressure to suddenly increase. When the rotor continues to turn to the outlet, the gas is discharged out of the pump.
2. The working principle of the water ring vacuum pump is: the impeller is eccentrically installed in the pump body close to the circle. When the impeller rotates clockwise, the water injected into the pump body forms a rotating water ring due to the centrifugal effect. The inner surface of the water ring and the impeller A crescent-shaped space is formed between the wheels. When the space increases, the gas is sucked in from the outside. When the impeller continues to rotate, the corresponding space becomes smaller. The originally sucked gas is compressed. When the pressure reaches or slightly exceeds the gas pressure, the gas is discharged .
3. The working principle of the reciprocating vacuum pump is: the reciprocating movement of the piston is used to pump air. This type of pump has poor continuity and is relatively simple.
4. The principle of the steam jet pump is: 8~12kkg/cm2 of medium pressure steam, through the adiabatic expansion of the nozzle, the speed increases sharply to more than 1000m/s, and the secondary steam and non-condensable gas are sucked into the mixing chamber. After mixing the non-condensable gas and the medium-pressure steam, the speed increases to about 200m/s. The medium-pressure steam carrier sucks in the steam into the diffuser. The mixed steam is compressed in the compressor, and then discharged out of the pump after decompression. Imported steam jet pump, high concentricity, good material, ingenious nozzle design, domestic steam jet current production technology can not be compared with imported advanced steam jet.
