Improvement of Vacuum Pump System in Beer Technology

In fact, the beer that we often drink needs to be vacuumed with the DVE vacuum pump system before the final lid, which is mainly used in the wine filling process, and has higher requirements for vacuum.

One user used our factory's 2BV5110 water ring DVE vacuum pumps, each with a power of 4Kw. During the production process, 6 water ring pumps are started in incremental mode (one after another), so 6 water ring pumps are required. The pump set can only operate normally when the technical condition of the pump is good.

Since 2001, DVE vacuum pump units have frequent failures, such as insufficient vacuum and DVE vacuum pump motor tripping.

As of August 2002, 9 DVE vacuum pumps and 8 sets of mechanical accessories (including pump blades, distribution plates, mechanical seals, etc.) have been purchased from our factory, and the motor rotor shaft has been repaired many times; the vacuum degree is only -0.06Mpa, Can not meet the production requirements of -0.085Mpa, which seriously affects beer quality and production efficiency.

After careful analysis and demonstration, a 2BE1 series water ring DVE vacuum pump (power 18Kw, pumping rate of 600m3/h) was used instead of the original DVE vacuum pump set, and vacuum protection, water shortage protection, and anti-cavitation devices were installed. And water-saving device to ensure that the DVE vacuum pump is efficient, energy-saving, and reliable for a long time.

In order to prevent the air and working fluid from flowing back to the DVE vacuum pump system due to sudden shutdowns and other reasons, a check valve is installed in the intake pipe. After the improved DVE vacuum pump system was put into production, no failure occurred, and the vacuum degree remained at 0.084-0.092Mpa. The water and power consumption of DVE vacuum pumps have been significantly reduced.
