Troubles and troubleshooting methods of vacuum pumps for vehicles

At present, the power systems of medium-sized automobiles and agricultural vehicles are generally equipped with DVE vacuum pumps and motors, which not only provide electric energy for the electric facilities of the vehicle, but also provide vacuum negative pressure for the brake system, so that the automobile can brake easily and accurately, reducing The labor intensity of the driver. However, in long-term use, the DVE vacuum pump system will inevitably fail, so how should we solve these failures?
(1) DVE vacuum pump and related parts leak oil.
Check whether the bolts of the oil inlet and return port of the DVE vacuum pump are loose or sliding. If the bolts are loose, tighten the bolts; if the bolts are sliding, replace the bolts or the DVE vacuum pump.
Check the DVE vacuum pump casing for cracks or blisters, and replace the DVE vacuum pump if necessary.
Check whether the bearing sealing ring is excessively worn or deformed, damaged, or aging (the sealing lip is not elastic). If it is damaged, replace the sealing ring in time.
Check whether there are groove-like wear marks at the junction of the generator rotor shaft and the oil seal. If it is serious, replace the generator rotor.
Check if there are cracks in the oil pipe. If there is a crack, replace the oil pipe; the vacuum of the DVE vacuum pump is low; check whether the vacuum pipe connection is loose and leaking. If it is loose and leaking, tighten it. Disassemble the DVE vacuum pump and check for cracks in the pump casing. If there are cracks, replace the DVE vacuum pump.
Check whether the spline shaft of the generator rotor and the spline of the pump rotor are worn. If the wear is severe, replace the generator rotor and the DVE vacuum pump rotor at the same time.
Check whether the blades are excessively worn, whether they can slide freely in the rotor groove, or whether there are defects on the blades.
If any of these conditions occur, the blades should be replaced.
(2) Abnormal sound of DVE vacuum pump.
Check whether the DVE vacuum pump rotates on the outer circle for friction marks, whether there are hard sundries in the pump, and whether the stop is too loose. If it is serious, replace the DVE vacuum pump. Whether the oil inlet of the DVE vacuum pump casing and the oil guide hole of the bolt are blocked to ensure that the oil path is unblocked.
